Police services in the Town of Black Earth are provided by the Dane County Sheriff’s office.

Fire

Black Earth is a member of the Black Earth Joint Fire District and is served by the all-volunteer Black Earth Fire Department.

The Town of Black Earth is served by Dane County District One EMS located in Mazomanie.
