The Partisan Primary on August 11, 2026, will select candidates for the November 3rd fall election, including:  WI Governor and Lt. Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, WI Senator, WI Assembly, Dane County Sheriff, and Dane County Clerk of Courts.

You can register to vote, check your voter registration, see your ballot, request an absentee ballot, and find your polling place at:  https://myvote.wi.gov.

Here are some key dates:

• July 14^th is the last day to begin to acquire residence for the Partisan Primary.  In most cases, if you move after then, you may vote (absentee or in person) using your prior address.

• July 22^nd is the last day to register to vote by mail or online. Voters can also register to vote in person at their municipal clerk’s office until 5:00 PM on August 7, or in person at the polls on Election Day.  Voters must provide acceptable proof of residence with their current name and address to register to vote.
