Public Hearing on Proposed Amendment to Comprehensive Plan on September 19

On Monday, September 19, 2011 at 6:30 PM there will be a public hearing on a proposal to amend the Comprehensive Plan of the Town of Black Earth.

The proposed amendment is made under Section 3-1 of the Plan, and will designate an area consisting of three parcels on Kahl Road for possible commercial development. The hearing will be held by the Town Board and Town Plan Commission at the Town Hall, 1116 Mills Street, Black Earth.

Notice of Public Hearing and Town Meeting: Thursday, November 18, 2010 6:30 p.m.

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held to discuss the proposed 2011 budget for the Town of Black Earth.  Copies of the detailed proposed budget are available from the town clerk.   This summary is posted pursuant to 65.90(3)(a)1 of Wisconsin Statutes.

A Special Town Meeting will be held following this hearing.  The purpose of the special meeting,  per state statutes Section 60.12(1)(c), is set to the highway expenditures for 2011 and to adopt the proposed 2010 levy collectible in 2011 pursuant to Section 60.10(1)(a) of Wisconsin Statutes.
